Origin. To obtain less restriction from the wind, which gives better cooling efficiency from the radiator. They are more sensitive. Report of Experimental Test. Fitted to 4-B-IV and ran 10,000 miles in France, also 10,000 miles in England. Water temperatures have been more consistent, shutters less inclined to be affected by the wind pressure.
