Description of Parts. UNBALANCED RADIATOR SHUTTERS.
Origin. To obtain less restriction from the wind, which gives better cooling efficiency from the radiator. They are more sensitive.
Report of Experimental Test. Fitted to 4-B-IV and ran 10,000 miles in France, also 10,000 miles in England. Water temperatures have been more consistent, shutters less inclined to be affected by the wind pressure.
