Dear Sirs,

Re: Speedometers for Rolls-Royce and Bentley Chassis with larger Trip Figures.

Ref:ROY.{Sir Henry Royce}3/P; and, regarding the question of Speedometers to your altered specification, we regret that it is impossible to introduce the proposed Mileage Recorder modifications in the present type of instrument.

On the question of delivery of the new range, if you require larger mileage discs, shielded magnet, also concave dials with bezel and glass, we shall require approximately four months to bring through these features in the new instruments.

Concerning the question of price, we have already had the pleasure of quoting you although our figures, unfortunately, will have to be revised due to the considerably greater expense of the shrouded magnet design. We are preparing new estimates and hope to let you have more definite details on this point during the next few days.

Meantime, may we claim your very kind indulgence, please?.

Thanking you in anticipation.

Yours faithfully,

For S.SMITH & SONS (MOTOR ACCESSORIES) LTD

SALES DIRECTOR.
