S.Smith & Sons (Motor Accessories) Ltd Cricklewood Works, LONDON N.W.2 Dear Sirs, Re Speedometers for Rolls-Royce and Bentley Chassis with larger Trip Figures Thank you for your letter of the 22nd instant re above. Contents noted. We await your further remarks on the subject with interest. We observe you suggest inclusion of the shrouded magnet design will add considerably to the expense of production. We are afraid we can hardly follow your argument here. In our opinion, when bulk manufacture comes into force, the cost of production should certainly not be greater - possibly less. Will you kindly take up this matter again with your Works. Yours faithfully, For and on behalf of ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED Buyer | ||
