x613 Roy.{Sir Henry Royce} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. c. to G/MT. c. to D/BP. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.6/KT.18.7.33. We have today handed to Mr.Manwaring Messrs. Smith & Sons Ltd., Representative one Smith Petrol Gauge tank unit piece No.F.58445, and one 5 inch NEMAG rev clock. The former is being returned due to a fault having developed while in the Test Dept., and we particularly want Messrs.Smith & Sons to furnish us with a report on the same. The NEMAG rev clock is one which has been sent to us on approval and as we have tested it we are returning same to Messrs. Smiths in order to close the invoice. The Smith petrol tank unit should be handed into production stock upon its return, but we particularly wish the report on the cause of the failure to be sent to us.
