R.R. 493A (50 H) (D.D. 31. 12-6-25) J.H.D. EXPERIMENTAL REPORT. Expl. No. X9840 1 REF: Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/LG30.11.25. to DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} BODY FOR EAC.1. X9840 We recommend that we use the Hooper enclosed limousine, suitable for 'B' steering. The advantage of this is that we could then make direct comparisons with EAC.8. which would be a standard chassis. It would mean that the pedals and steering on EAC.1. would have to be altered. In any case, we should have to alter the width of the dash because the dash at present on that car is only the standard width. We notice in your memo. EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}3/28.11.25. the dash for EAC.1. should be the standard 'W' series. Would not this mean drastic alterations to the body? because all the bodies for EAC. are being made to suit the subframes. If it is decided to alter the body it might be better to choose a Barker. Will you please let us know how you intend to deal with the difficulty with regard to the width of the dash. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
