PHANTOM 11 CAMSHAFT SQUAWKS. We have been carrying out a number of experiments to overcome this fault but so far we have not arrived at a definite cure. Our tests, however, have shewn that if we use a solid cam-shaft instead of one that is bored up it is a definite improvement. We therefore recommend that we delete the boring of camshafts right away. It is an expensive operation and the only possible advantage is the slight saving in weight. The 20 HP. car runs with a solid camshaft. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
