EAC. 7. X9778 (crossed out) 4-0 / 1/29

This chassis (with a good body) is expected to come to France during the visit of HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} and some others. Naturally not many of the heads should be away at the same period: Mr. Wormald should have the first choice of the time he would like to come. Jan. and Feb. are not good months, but they are not anywhere. March seems a little late for the full benefit of getting the early sun, and missing the worst English weather, so I leave it for you to settle between yourselves as you wish.

Now what ought we to have on EAC. 7. I don't suppose this will be adopted as it is at the moment, because we can do better, but it would be a good thing to use it as it is perhaps with an improved induction pipe or complete system. See over the list I propose for this, and a second advance called EAC. 9.

EAC.7. AS NOW, SLIGHTLY IMPROVED. (Not for production until further improved as E.A.C. 9.)

(1) Induction pipe with slot inlet and drainage arranged to prevent petrol accumulating.
(2) With (1) giving better cold distribution heating changed from exhaust to water, with or without superheater.
(3) Cutout.
(4) Improvements to sequence starter.
(5) Road springs arranged to give correct height of frame/normal load.
(6) Shock damper (rear) connections - more road clearance.
(7) Watford new magneto, large armature (no sleeve), laminated poles, silent bakelite gear, light contact maker.
