TO DY.{F R Danby} FROM DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} C. to HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 20HP. BATTERY SUSPENSION. X5535 With further reference to BY7/H161226., we send herewith N. sch. 2334. shewing how we suggest the suspension tube and fittings should be slightly modified to provide for the use of a subframe, should that ever become standard. It will be seen that we propose to allow the tube to cut slightly through the heelboard pressing in the centre, which we think, in the case of the heelboards in this extreme position, will not be a serious objection.
