FERODO STRIP FOR BONNET REST. Origin. To prevent wear and bonnet rattles. Experimental Test Report. This alteration consists of a different method of fixing the Ferodo strip - at present the strip is being rivetted to the bonnet itself - on the new proposed design it is laced on the bonnet supports. The Goshawk is fitted in the same way. Road Test Report. Run 1400 miles on 5.EX Car Similar scheme has run 70,000 miles on Goshawk-11 cars.
