SpectreCodename for Phantom III Ground Clearance.

We have from time to time sent you various summaries of the ground clearance of the SpectreCodename for Phantom III compared with the Phantom and the two American cars at present in the Experimental Dept.

Our last summary, dated 29.10.34, indicated that under the front of the rear silencer we are more than 3" lower than the Cadillac in the normal riding position. Furthermore, we are 1" lower than the existing Phantom under the battery box.

We know that you have been tackling this problem, but we are anxious to get all the modifications available on the second car which we are now building in order to improve this point, and should therefore be glad if you could let us have a sketch showing a summary of the moves which are being made and the resultant ground clearances obtained, both in the normal load position and in the maximum bump position.

HR/TBo.
