To R.{Sir Henry Royce} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to BJ. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} c. to RG.{Mr Rowledge} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} c. to BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} Fl. c. to Lr.{Mr Ellor} KF. X2934 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/LG30.1.28. +up50 F.{Mr Friese} XI SUPERCHARGER. With reference to the attached report. It is anticipated that the superchargers which have been completed will fulfil the A.M. contract specification which is - that the engine shall develop 480 HP. at 10,000 ft. It is therefore proposed to put up to the A.I.D. for acceptance an engine fitted with a supercharger. If it is satisfactory we can then despatch 3 F.Xl engines which have been waiting for superchargers for several months. We have still a certain amount of work to do on the carburetter to enable us to get satisfactory metering. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
