F.XI supercharged engine on 100% benzol and 20/80 benzol/aviation mixture. These curves are comparative with altitude curves previously published for the RR. F.X engine (S/C to E.28403) on 100% benzol. The corrections applied are those given by the A.M. in Addenda A.{Mr Adams} (A.P.940) for mechanically driven supercharger engines - [struck through text] March 1927. Section 2a. Temperature Correction :- Ground H.P. X sqrt((273 + t) / (273 + z)) Where t = observed air temp. z = altitude air temp. Section 2b. Back pressure correction. A correction of plus one per cent for every 40 mm. difference between the atmoshperic pressure at ground level and at the contd:- | ||
