cases of fading in a shorter period.

It would be interesting if you could manage to at once re-fill one or two gauges about which you were speaking with our standard scarlet type of liquid as now being delivered, and let them run through the present Summer months, selecting if possible open cars, as undoubtedly open cars are a much more severe trial on the colour of the liquid than closed models, also the amount of time that a car is left standing out of doors will have a bearing on the fact.

We will take an early opportunity of sending our Mr. Holt to your Works to rectify and re-fill the gauges, preserving if possible the liquid taken from the gauges, so that we may carefully investigate the matter at this end.

We do not in any way think that the trouble is connected with misuse if the gauge sets in question are working correctly.

We are glad to note that the tank for the single line gauge will be coming along, and it shall have our immediate attention upon arrival.

Yours faithfully,

H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} HOBSON, LTD.,

F.{Mr Friese} P. Searight.
Joint Managing Director.
