ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. (3) To______________________ Order No. WD{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}15 (contd) Customer's No. __________________ computing the temperature after heating up the coil by conductance and radiation from the Engine, the cooling water temperature being kept at approx 95°C and the engine run on magneto ignition only. © Similarly obtaining the coil temperature after running the engine on battery ignition allowing the working current to warm up the coil. Additionally, the water temperature still being kept at 95°C. The results were as follows:- Test 1. 20 HP chassis. 1003 with finer primary coil. Car standing.
