comparisons were obtained of the heating of the coil relative to the car standing or running on the road.
The increase in resistance method was used for determining the temperature, the same instruments e.g. No 98. for volt readings and 22596 for ampere readings, being used for each test.
In all, six tests were carried out, three on expl chassis 10G3, two on 98NK and one on 17EX.
The tests consisted of:-
