The following is a list of parts which it has been proposed to standardize. X.120 Pistons - Clearance to be filed 400 instead of 30º each side of centre line. X.477 Cooled Exhaust System. - The Swan Neck pipe is wrapped with asbestos cord, the ends fastened by two clips, the purpose being to overcome recent trouble reported in connection with this part over-heating and charring rear end of bodies. X.823/4 Light Cast Iron Pistons & Connecting Rods Previous to the Connecting rods breaking it was proposed that these should be fitted to series 3100. Should the balacing of pistons overcome the Con.
