Rolls Royce, Ltd., Crewe, Cheshire. Dear Mr. Blatchley, Sixth British Caravan Road Rally 29th April/1st May, 1960 I understand from Mr. Arthur Heap that you have indicated that you may be able to help us by acting as a Judge in the Concours d'Elegance section of the Sixth British Caravan Road Rally which is being held at Oulton Park, Cheshire. Mr. Heap also told me that if it is unfortunately not possible for you to act in person you may be able to suggest someone else from your company. The judging will start at approximately 9 a.m. (with a brief meeting for the Judges) and should be completed by mid-day. After this we shall make the presentation of awards for the whole of the Rally including the Concours. Details of the Rally and Concours will be found in the enclosed copy of the Regulations. The Judges are divided into three teams in each of which there is a caravan or coachbuilding expert, a prominent member of the Caravan Club and a lady who has wide experience as a practical caravanner. We shall be most grateful for your help in this and would be very pleased if you and your wife would accept an invitation to lunch after the presentation of awards at the Blue Cap Hotel, Sandiway. The Concours, incidentally, will be held on Sunday, 1st May. Yours sincerely, K.A. Price Rally Secretary. | ||
