Dear Robotham, I am sorry to be so long in acknow-ledging your note of April 23rd but I never have a moment for anything in this bloody life. I am so sorry about the BMW but our letters kept crossing & your people were so long in fetching it & then didn't ring up to know if it was still available, that the contretemps happened.
