-2- Hm{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}5/W18.1.26 Contd. Steel Wheels have been fitted to the following chassis :- 1425. 1478. 1431. 1429. Will Mr. Wren arrange for these chassis to be returned to Mr. Bassano, who will remove the steel Wheels and fit bronze Wheels. They are also fitted in Engines G.1576, G.1593, and G.1588, which are probably now in chassis. Will Mr. Wren also look out for these chassis, and send them to Mr. Bassano? Mr. Vale has 4 Steel Cam. Wheels, and I understand has sent them through in sets to Mr. Mosedale. Will Mr. Mosedale arrange to replace them with bronze Wheels, or if he has sent them through on Engines kindly let us know where they are, and we will arrange to have them removed when the Engine is in the chassis? There is one other left which has not been used at all. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} could take this for his experiments if he wishes. This makes a total of 12: 12 only having been completed. No doubt BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} will give instructions to cancel the further supply of 20 which were instructed last week. MADE AT CROXLEY Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} | ||
