With reference to PN{Mr Northey}1/WT17.8.28 1/2 Your impressions confirm our results. We find that on the whole the low speed riding trouble is emphasised by making the high pressure load double that of the low pressure but reduced to the minimum if the loads approach equality.

We think that it would be very useful if you could confirm your impressions sitting in the back of the car being driven about London, and then repeat the test reverting to the standard dampers.

We want confirmatory evidence to condemn this type of shock absorber loading.

When you have finished the test will you please let us have the damper springs back.
