HYDRAULIC DAMPERS AND 29-CL.
--------------------

Thank you for your note of the 30th; as however you did not leave me any address I cannot reply to you direct.

As regards the springs you have sent for altering the load of the standard shock absorbers, a trial will be made with these in London. I am now handing the whole matter over to PN.{Mr Northey} as I shall be leaving for a short holiday to-morrow and so cannot see it through.

As regards 29-CL, this car does not leave London until the 20th August, on which date it comes over to France, picks me up, and it will be available for any test you may wish to give it at any time during the week ending 18th August.

If therefore you are able, would you please get in touch with Whr.{Mr Wheeler} who will arrange for it to be kept free on any day you may decide.

I shall be very glad to hear your opinion of the springing etc. after you have made your test, so perhaps you might leave a note which can be brought over to me with the car.

(CWB). CWB.
