COPY. X5460. To Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} From Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} P.11 Petrol Reserve. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}15/E8.7.30. c. to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} c. to Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} X. 7460. X. 5460. Referring to Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}12/E2.7.30 and Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}1/H3.7.30 my attention has been drawn to the fact that the 20/25 of today is in very much the same position, that is to say, whereas we used to have about a two gallon reserve in the main petrol tank, this has apparently been discontinued and I imagine was brought into effect when the dashboard gauge was standardised on the 20/25. It seems to us just as important that the owner of a 20/25 should not suffer from the disadvantages which have caused us to decide to reinstate this reserve on the P.11 and I should, therefore, be glad if you would let me know when arrangements can be made to bring this into effect.
