RR 755 REVISED (10H) (OF 687 4-1-29) BM. 2/5943. COMPLETED 15.9.30. ORIGINAL STANDARDISATION of CHASSIS PARTS. Description of Parts: IMPROVED TYPE OF BONNET LOCKS. Origin: To overcome complaints. Experimental Test Report: There are certain troubles with the present locks. (1) They cause the bonnet to be more difficult to shut. (2) The lock is frequently damaged by the bonnet. With the proposed new lock these troubles are overcome. Road Test Report: Fitted to 10-EX. Fitted to 18-EX. Right side box: X No. 1140 Drawing No. 7260 Part List A Scrap and replace at all costs, including Chassis already delivered to Customers. B Scrap and replace on Chassis in Works.
