PARK WARD FOUR LIGHT SPORTS SALOON.
BENTLEY "B" MODEL. (BENSPORT).
SPECIFICATION OF COACHWORK.

Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}

CHASSIS.
Bentley "B" Model. "E" Type Steering. Untarnishable finish. Chromium throughout. 18ins. rims. 5.50ins. tyres. Full details of the chassis are given on the schemes supplied.

TYPE OF BODY.
Four door four light sports saloon with sunshine roof see N.Sch.3478.

SEATING.
Four seater. Two sliding bucket seats in front. Rear seat to take two. Pneumatic cushions with spring and hair squabs to all seats. Folding centre armrest to rear seat and side armrests attached to the inside of the rear doors. The sliding seats to be on the light pattern Leveroll Fittings

FRAMING.
Body to be very lightly framed in English Ash and built with sheet steel wheelarches .056. thick made by the coachbuilder. For 1/4 scale layout of the construction on the body see N.Sch.34877

DOORS.
Four doors hung on the centre pillar with concealed hinges. Metal door stops. Doors to be no more than 2.500ins. thick at the lock. Dropping windows to be of Triplex. .187ins. thick.

HEAD.
Head to be covered with straight grained fabric, sprayed to suit the colour scheme. Pytchley Sunshine Roof, and eddy-free front. Well of roof to be covered in when closed. Every precaution to be taken to avoid booming or drumming.

WINDSCREEN.
Single piece screen and fixed. To shew no metal frame when viewed from inside. Triplex. .187ins. thick. Dual electrical screen wiper at base of screen or alternatively at the top of the screen. Interior sun visors, if possible.

SCUTTLE VENTILATION.
As the bonnet extends almost to the windscreen the scuttle will need to be ventilated by air scoops. Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} will go into this on the full size drawing.

WINGS.
Front and rear wings to be finished as far as possible and finally fitted and painted by Derby. Wings to be made of aluminium 14.S.W.G. centres and 16.S.W.G. sides. No stone gaurds. The steps to match up with the sweep of the front wings and to be metal covered with strips of rubber for a tread. The rubber to match the paintwork. Staybright kick-plate along the edge of the steps.

FLOORS.
The whole of the front floor in front of the sliding seats to be supplied and fitted by Derby. The sunken rear floor
