MORRIS AND VAUXHALL ENGINES AND GEARBOXES.

We should like a photographic weight analysis making of the engines and gearboxes of these two cars.

At the same time we should like Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HH. to make a diagrammatic sketch of the units, giving the major dimensions.

On the gearbox these will be :-

width of gears, diametral pitch, shaft diameters, shaft centres, and disposition of gears in the box.

In the engines, overall length of block, overall length of crankshaft between main bearings, valve throat areas, conn. rod dimensions, valve lift, particulars of tappets and valves, fly-wheel dimensions, points of interest such as where the camshafts are fitted, etc.,
