Dear Sirs,

Referring to our letter of yesterday's date.

Late last evening we received the following telegram from your Derby Works:-

"PLEASE CANCEL ROLLS ROYCE ORDER FOR GLYCERINE".

In accordance with your telephonic instructions we had already despatched the goods per passenger train, and the telegram arrived too late to recover them.

We hope to receive a letter explaining the position in due course.

Yours faithfully,

CHRISTR. THOMAS & BROS. LTD.
