Mr Hives.

My instructions as far as Mr B. Johnson knows up to the present are, go down to Kingsdown Saturday, return to Gerrards + Sunday, return to Derby Monday. The foot brakes are very poor very little braking on the front.
Mr B Johnson suggested sending car back to Derby to have brakes attended to, then bring it down next week-end with the other car. He said he not like to send the car down to Mr C. Johnson with poor brakes, but he has since arranged for Mr C Johnson to try the car. The trouble appears to be oil on the front brakes, oil leaking out of the pivots & getting between the dust cover & brake drums, I have put some petrol on brakes to try & get rid of the oil. They have improved a little but still poor.

R J Begley.
