DERBY.
For the attention of Mr. W.A. Robotham.
Dear Sirs:
With reference to your letter of the 17th inst. dealing with the subject of 6.75 tyres.
We do not know the exact position with regard to the manufacture of Fort tyres in this size in Triple Stud pattern in France. They have, however, full particulars, processes etc. to enable them to manufacture the tyre if their policy requires them to do so.
On the whole, however, we think it would probably be the safer course that your suggestion of taking the tyres over from here was adopted.
With regard to your enquiry about the Super tyres. You will remember our letter of the 10th informed you that we hoped to be able to provide your test requirements early in November. As far as we can see at present, we have every reason to believe that tyres will be available for your purposes within the time mentioned.
Yours faithfully,
For THE DUNLOP RUBBER CO. LTD.
W Bond
Technical Director's Office.
