To Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HH. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HH.12/SW.27.2.41. In connection with the scheme for fitting a General Oil Filter to the B.11 chassis, a sample set supplied to us for test would be definitely a good plan to be sure we are on the best job. In replying to these people, we still have a criticism to make, i.e., the feed pipe to the filter should be 3/16" and not ¼" as indicated on their layout. To enable us to fit this job on our B.11., we require a set of the following parts :- O - Tee piece. 1 Off. N - Union complete. 1 " W - Pipe clip. 1 " K - Pipe inlet (but 3/16 dia not ¼). L - Banjo fitting complete (3/16 dia. pipe not ¼) M - Fibre washer. 2 " A - General oil filter. B - Cradle. C - Support bracket - front - EB.4491 D - " " - rear - EB.4492 E - Special studs. H - Set screws. T - Banjo fitting complete. V - Fibre washer for banjo. R - Union complete. Q - 5/16. dia. pipe. S - Tee piece. -------------- Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HH. Helle | ||
