Martindale}16/KW.Exptl.Dept. 16th May 1936. Messrs Rolls Royce Ltd. DERBY. Dear Sirs, re: Your Order No.15494. Further to our letter of the 29th ult, and 7th inst, we have pleasure in enclosing herewith blue print of Sump Attachment Y.47142, giving layout of sump unit we have already supplied for Mr. Hall's Bentley Car. Referring to our letter of the 9th inst, we shall be glad to know if you have yet had an opportunity of testing the sample instrument. We would like to take this opportunity of drawing your attention to the very small clearance which we have marked on the enclosed blue print. It will be necessary to see that the float is not bent towards the casting otherwise, there will be a danger of it sticking. Yours faithfully, for S. SMITH & SONS (MOTOR ACCESSORIES) LIMITED. G.S.Rowell. ELECTRICAL ENGINEER. To avoid delay all envelopes should be addressed to the firm. | ||
