R.R. 235A (100 T) (S H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 159. 11-8-20) G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 2800 24th December 1920. The necessary form will be obtainable at a Money Order Post Office or at the County Council or County Borough Council Offices. When filled up it will have to be sent together with the amount of duty to the Council who will issue a license and also a registration book containing particulars concerning the car. The license will have to be affixed to the car and the book kept by the proprietor. We anticipate that in the course of two or three days printed instructions will be available. These regulations are being aimed both at identification of ownership of a car, and also of ensuring the payment of the taxes. Yours faithfully, (Sgd) Claremont Haynes & Co.
