To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re Accident in France.
Copy to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}

Thanks for Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}12/KW/21.11.35 together with the reports. Please keep me in touch with any important developments.

Sr. was on to us on the telephone early yesterday morning to know whether he was to say that the car was owned by you or by the Company but, on ascertaining that it was registered in your name, I said we had better give you as the owner.

I appreciate the difficulty of finding a sufficient number of drivers with experience in France, especially when you have two cars being tested at the same time.

Whilst this accident is very lamentable, I suppose that we must recognise the fact that in the long run we have been fortunate.

Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}
