x677 8.01 Lebrvo ROYAL AUTOMOBILE CLUB. --------------------------- TOURING DEPARTMENT. ------------------- Members and Associate-Members of the Club wishing to take their cars, motor cycles and motor cycles and side cars to the Continent should follow the instructions herein specified. PASSPORTS. A passport must be obtained for each member of the party and each must be vized by the Consular Representative of each country to which or through which the holder contemplates travelling. The Touring Department can arrange these matters if so desired., The Touring Department will supply the necessary application forms for passports. Each form must be countersigned by a Mayor, Magistrate, Justice of the Peace, Minister of Religion, Barrister, Physician, Surgeon, Solicitor or Notary Public. Three small unmounted photographs - head and shoulders only - of each applicant must accompany each application - one of which must be certified on the back by the person who countersigns the form. CUSTOMS PAPERS (Triptyques) avoiding all financial transactions with the Customs Authorities abroad can be issued in return for which the Club requires a deposit equivalent to the duty ordinarily leviable, which is refunded provided the Customs Papers are surrendered to the Club at the completion of the journey within a year from the date of issue, or a letter of indemnity signed by a Banker across a 6d stamp to legalise it, and which should take the form shown attached.
