With reference to the enquiry arising out of Messrs. Glovers' letter of the 20th inst., which we return herewith, our tests on these cables are not yet sufficiently matured for us to be able to report. We have made chemical testse on the cables but we have not yet completed our H.T. tests. At the same time we are running a 10,000 mile test on an experimental car with H.T. cables made up of lengths of these two, sandwiched with our present standard cable. This test has at present run 6,000 miles but we shall not be in a position to report completely until the 10,000 mile test is completed. EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} | ||
