To Sft {Mr Swift} /Mr. Brock. Y.8560 EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 5/T1.10.28. CHASSIS H.T. CABLE. We think it would be a good plan to receive from you a sample length of H.T. cable cut from each coil of cable that is utilised on production, the idea being to make a high pressure test with our transformer, after 48 hours immersion in water, and so keep a check on the dielectric quality of the insulation. You will be interested to know that the sample which I took away on Saturday has satisfactorily withstood for 15 minutes the highest peak pressure of 26700 volts which we have available. EFC. {E.
