To BJ. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to PN.{Mr Northey} c. to CWB. S E C R E T. X8770 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}6/LG29.1.25. E.A.C. 44-PK CAR. This car will be outside The Albert Hall, Knightsbridge at 1-30 p.m. tomorrow Friday. We are afraid that there will be very little time to test this car before it has to leave because the new parts have taken a longer time than we anticipated to fit up. We have had a test with the car in an incomplete condition and we are of the opinion that it is an improvement compared with the last time it was sent to London. There is less fuss and noise, although the transmission periods can still be observed. We will send a further note tomorrow morning by the bag of any points which we should like you to specially note. If it is possible, we should like the car returned on Monday so that we can complete it. We expect that 44-PK and 98-NK cars will be ready at the end of next week. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
