To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} c. to RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} c. to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} X7460 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} 9/MJ.12.1.31. CENTRALLY VENTED TANK. We understand that you have not yet instructed the centrally vented tank. We particularly want to get this on the car as it should save us a lot of complaints from customers and at the same time should be more economical to buy than the three line scheme. R.{Sir Henry Royce} was very anxious to get this on 27-EX. car which will be going to the south of France very shortly. Will you please push the job as far as possible.
