C. to Mm. & Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}4/GC. E.R.Hall Esq., 53. Berkeley Court, N.W.1. 29th October 1934. Dear Sir, Re : Closed Body for Bentley. We regret that we have been so long in letting you know whether the Saloon body which we had in mind, would go on to the Bentley chassis. This is a Four Light Saloon with four doors and is of quite light construction. I am informed by our Sales Department that the price of the body would be £50. Messrs.Park Ward & Company, the makers of the body say that they could mount it and make a hundred per cent job of it for £65. The body is practically new and at the moment is at our Works at Derby. If you entertain the idea of having this body, we will have it brought to London immediately. We enclose a small drawing to show you what the car will look like. Yours faithfully, for BENTLEY MOTORS (1931) LTD. Coachwork Design Section. ENC: Drawing. | ||
