X8796 To Wd. {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} from EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 4/T12.10.25. X.4181d. WATFORD EO6 MAGNETOS. NOS. 77696 & 81062. The above magnetos were returned to us from the Experimental Test House as not being up to scratch in performance. They have been bench tested by us and we agree that they are not up to scratch performance, No. 81062 being the worse. It is desired that these machines should be returned to Messrs. Norths for reconditioning and also to have the latest modification fitted of improved sleeve bearing. There are also two magnetos, Nos. 73970/2 (ref. our note EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 7/T8.7.25), which are away at Messrs. Norths for reconditioning. It would be an advantage to have these also fitted with the new sleeve bearing. EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} Magnetos sent to Wd {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} | ||
