To Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} From RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} PHANTOM 111 OVERDRIVE GEARBOX. Regarding your enquiry as to the position of Phantom 111 Over-Drive Gearbox, after receipt of instructions to proceed 36 weeks will be required before the modification can be introduced on to Production. At the present rate of Output this will bring us to the 101st. Chassis in 'D' Series which is due to test March 26th., 1938, but would involve approximately £1,055 worth of Scrap, as all material for 'D' Series is either on order or delivered. It will be possible to introduce without Scrap on the first chassis in 'E' Series which at the present rate of Output will be due to test week ending August 6th., 1938. RHC.{R. H.
