Bowring}4/KT/ 22nd November, 1935. Messrs.Rolls Royce Ltd., DERBY. Dear Sirs, In reply to your letter of the 18th instant, we are attending to the various items mentioned. As regards the clearance between the 5BA brass screw and the inside of your cover, we think the best thing to do is to eliminate the spring washer and the small brass washer entirely. The Ross Courtney terminal will probably have a very similar effect to the spring washer, and in any case we do not think there is room for any type of spring washer here. It is absolutely essential that this screw should not foul the lid{A. J. Lidsey} as otherwise a very big strain may be put on the pedestal moulding when the lid{A. J. Lidsey} is tightened down. Assuring you of our best endeavours, Yours faithfully, for THE S.U.CO. T. Leslie Kent | ||
