Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
Nightingale Road,
DERBY.

Attention: Mr. Grylls.

Dear Sirs,

re Order 82959

With reference to our letter of the 9th inst., in connection with the supply of two sample 10.A3 clutches, we stated that assemblies would be supplied as shown on our Installation Drawing SK.30604/2, as called for on your order. However, this statement is incorrect inasmuch as since the above mentioned Drawing was submitted to you a decision has been reached to adopt layout as shown on your own Installation Drawing NSH,4435. Accordingly, you will utilise our standard Driven Plate Assembly, and further, you will not require the special oil slinger as you propose to use self-sealing journal ball type spigot bearing.

We trust the position is clear, and for records sake we are arranging to set out Installation Drawing of clutch exactly as same will be supplied to you and willforward you copy immediately upon completion.

In the meantime assuring you of our best attention at all times,

Yours faithfully,

BORG & BECK COMPANY LIMITED

A.{Mr Adams} M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} Shinkins.
