Letter from Borg & Beck Company Limited regarding the supply of clutch and gearbox components.

Mr. Grylls that you, yourselves, will arrange to manufacture release bearing assembly together with gear box front nose extension. As advised in our letter of the 26th March, gear box nose extension may be made either in steel or close grained cast iron, preferably cast iron.

Specification allocated to clutch we are to supply is BB.241, and in accordance with request we enclose herewith our Official Quotation based on the supply of production quantities and would add that we are agreeable to supply assemblies required against order under acknowledgment at the production figure, and the additional driven plates mentioned will be furnished without charge.

It was also understood previously that you would order sample 11.A3 clutches for test purposes, and we should appreciate your comments as to whether you intend incorporating 11" clutches in test applications.
