Dear Sirs,

We would refer to your letter of the 6th instant with regard to spring interleaving, and regret to say that we have an insufficient quantity of the plain board to make up even one set of interleaving. Mr. Longley informs the writer that Mr. Martindale was supplied with considerable quantities of this plain board, though admittedly, arranged with vulcanised ends, and in view of the difficulty in obtaining this board under present day conditions we wondered if you have sufficient already in your possession which by judicious cutting and piecing would furnish the necessary test set. If you find this suggestion is not feasible we will make another attempt to obtain further supplies.

The order for another test set of Ferodo S.9992 has been entered, but there will be a little delay in delivery as the material has to be manufactured, as well as cut to size and shape.

Instructions have been given for the modification of our sliding rig, and we will inform you as soon as it is running, as you might care to see it in operation.

Yours faithfully,
FERODO LIMITED.
