S.R. 235A (50 M) (H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 406. 1.10.09) E.P. 5034. 22nd June 1910. C.J. (2) For size the 35/40 would be a better comparison with our cylinder sizes and it also has the double pocketed engine which we desire and the multiple disc clutch, which may be interesting if it works properly. It has, however, what I think is a beastly system of ignition, namely, low tension magneto plugs, and although Bosch made a beautiful job of this, I think there must be very consider-able lag in the timing of them. And moreover, I should think the timing would not be synchronised. It would, however, be a novel system and possibly the engine might be capable of being fitted with the ordinary high tension magneto in case we found it upset any experimental work we wanted to conduct upon it. I should like someone to see these two | ||
