PHANTOM II STEERING

We recently sent a long report on this subject to R.{Sir Henry Royce} There is no doubt that the steering on P.2. is one of its worst features.

We were particularly struck with the excellence of the Cadillac steering while we were in the States. We believe that their excellence is largely due to the reversibility of the reduction gear in their steering box. We are asking Cy. to send us a complete Cadillac steering column and box unless you have any objections. We expect that this may cost us about £15 but we should be sure of getting the latest thing.
