Hanbury - Head Complaints} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} West, Esq., Rolls-Royce Ltd., DERBY. Dear Mr. West, SINGLE WIRE PETROL GAUGE. Further in reference to yours of the 15th, I endeavoured to 'phone you this afternoon, when I found you were absent on holiday, to the effect that whilst we shall be happy to supply you with this type of instrument, knowing the degree of accuracy demanded in your case we fear that same would not be satisfactory for your purpose. The approximate saving in price on the single wire design would be 8/-. Perhaps when you are in a position to further consider this matter you will very kindly arrange to discuss same with Mr. Russell or Mr. Manwaring. Awaiting your esteemed news and hoping that you have had an enjoyable holiday. Yours, truly, Charles Whriaud | ||
