Dear Sirs,
For the attention of Mr. West.
We thank you for your letter of the 11th inst, and have noted with interest the result of your test on the petrol gauge meter fitted with bakelite varnished winding.
In order to further improve the control coil (top) we have since been experimenting with an improved method of winding and will submit to you in the near future, modified coils providing of-course that they prove entirely satisfactory on our test. In view of the position may we suggest that you do not issue a standardisation sheet until the matter has progressed a little further.
Thanking you for your assistance and assuring you of our best attention.
Yours faithfully,
for S. SMITH & SONS (MOTOR ACCESSORIES) LIMITED.
