We send you herewith N.schs. 1309 and 1310, shewing the temporary application of radius rods to the Goshawk in accordance with Mr. Royce's memo - R2/M24722.

It will be seen that while the application as shewn is temporary, it would permit of it being made standard if it were found to be a great improvement, but the main idea of the proposal is to get the radius rods on a chassis as quickly as possible so that we may know whether this experiment is worth going on with or not.

It will be noticed that the side steering tube is set rather differently, that a new top leaf for the front springs is required, and a new sheath under the spring clips, but otherwise it is proposed to use existing pieces for the purpose of these experiments. โœ“
