WOR{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}/SM6/M21213. X995 Na{Mr Nadin}/S. Re. instruction book. In reply to your memo Na{Mr Nadin}/S1/LG251113, Mr Hives reports as follows:- "If detonations is not to be used, knock is the best way to cut it. I suggest that the paragraph re. starting the engine in the instruction book should be revised, it says set the mixture lever two notches strong, instead it should be right over strong. I also think that it should be 1 teaspoon full of petrol injected into the induction pipe instead of half. The note about packing cotton waste moistened with hot water round the carb. for starting up in cold weather could be left out." p.Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} | ||
